Within an octofoil, ‘pādshāh’ (‘king’ in Persian); in the margin, ‘bism Allāh ḍuriba hādhā al-fals bi Farghāna sana aḥad wa arba’ (‘In the name of Allah. This fals was struck in Ferghana in the year one and four [hundred]’ in Arabic). Rev. ‘Muḥammad / rasūl / Allāh’ (‘Muhammad is the messenger of Allah’ in Arabic); in the margin, ‘mimmā amara bihī al-amīr Naṣr ibn ʿAlī mawlā amīr al-muʾminīn’ (‘From that ordered by Amir Nasr ibn Ali, vassal of the Commander of the Believers’ in Arabic).
